Fabric: Wool/modal blend.
Size: 180cm long x 65cm wide
Weight: 70 grams
Finish: Fringed on each end, rolled hem both sides.
From the Designer:
"On my morning and evening walks, I am often thrilled to see Rainbow Lorikeets feeding among the flowering native shrubs. Just to see them and hear their friendly chatter really brightens my day. These birds are so cheerful, pretty and vividly coloured that they look like precious jewels among the muted tones of our native Australian trees. This design features carefully placed hand illustrated motifs to produce a scene that might be familiar to most Australians - Rainbow Lorikeets dangling upside down from branches to feed on nectar from the flowers of a Callistemon shrub.
Made of 100% wool blended with modal to add strength to the fibres, this beautiful scarf is lightweight and has a lovely soft 'hand feel'- it's a pleasure to look at and wear.
Thankfully, Rainbow Lorikeets are not an endangered bird, but many other Australian birds are - your purchase of this beautiful scarf will contribute to supporting the work of * Birdlife Australia"
*5% of each sale of this scarf goes to Birdlife Australia
