Hello! Welcome to my limited-edition collection of scarves and sarongs, dedicated to beautiful Australian native flora and fauna. Each design features unique illustrations by Brisbane based designer and artist Maryann Hine.

Size: 130cm x 130cm
Weight: 97 grams
From the Designer:
"This absolutely gorgeous design is dedicated to a unique animal known as the 'Tasmanian Devil'.
The 'Tassie devil' is an often misunderstood creature. This is not helped by their commonly known name, which came about from European settlers. Unnerved by the animal's various fierce sounding noises - harsh coughs, snarls and high pitched screeches, early settlers in Australia though it sounded 'devillish'.
The Tasmanian Devil is the world's largest surviving carnivorous marsupial. The animal became extinct on the mainland of Australia about 3000 years ago and currently exists only in Tasmania, Australia's island state.
In this design, the large centre panel is the most gorgeous shade of red, scattered with motifs of stylised bones, gum leaves and blossoms. The border features my artistic interpretation of a cute and cheeky 'devil', munching on a bone. This quirky, original design will certainly be a conversation starter and will appeal to anyone who likes to create their own fashion trends and also those can appreciate the unique personality and value of this greatly endangered animal.
The fabric is 100% wool, lightweight, soft and just a pleasure to wear.
